Thanks for the great feedback

Sunday, January 27, 2008

Here is a big thanks to all of you for sharing your thoughts and ideas. We need and value your input.

One thing I want to mention is that we do present the chord grids and tab for each song segment. These images are an important part of bridging the gap between the printed page and the video and every song has this graphic included at the start of each song segment. You just pause the video, and view the grids and tab for that segment as long as you like. You can also use the chapter feature in the lower right hand corner of the Quick Time window to skip right to the grids & tab or any other song segment.

On the "About Us Page" there is a video that outlines the features of the download. If you haven't yet, check that out. It will fill in some more blanks for you.

Meanwhile, share the news about iVideosongs with your buds. For those about to rock...we salute you.

I've heard that iVideosongs is a division of MTV games, is this true? If so, what a cool idea playing air guitar and real guitar!

How about offering your videos in Windows Media format, too. QuickTime can sometimes be problematic. Read about it here:

Good luck with your new enterprise.

I would love to see a monthly or package pricing. Something like $20-25 for 5 songs. Thanks ivideosongs.com is a great idea!

Great site! I just downloaded Proud Mary and I learned a lot.. including the fact that I played it all wrong when I was playing with a band a while back.

How about a second performance segment at the end, showing the instructor playing, but leaving the guitar track out so you can 'play along' and try out what you learned.

I've been toying with the piano for about 2 years now using the "Play Piano In A Flash" method by Scott Houston.

Right now you only have 2 lessons on piano, so I hope to see more lessons in the near future!

Looks to be a great resource!

As a 30 year RUSH fan and amateur guitarist - I was overjoyed to see the lessons from Alex Lifeson - an often thought dream come true. I have often joked with friends about how great it would be to get lessons from Mr. Lifeson. His commentary was entertaining and very informative. I was amazed at how WRONG I was with some parts of Tom Sawyer and how right other s were. THANK YOU Mr. Lifeson and ivideosongs. If he has time Subdivisions and Between the Wheels would be nice!
