About
This is a blog about music, and about the joy of making music. It’s for people who found their muse and people still searching
for one. It’s about hearing something in your head and needing to get it out somehow, about playing songs and being inspired
by great musicians to make your own music. At iVideosongs, we celebrate and are inspired by music. And we get excited about
showing others how to find the same joy in it. Our goal is to pull back the curtain so you can see how the magic is made,
and to share news about what we’re doing and also about the larger world of music. We don’t take ourselves too seriously
so hopefully we’ll contribute to a smile now and again.
Contributors
This blog is a collaboration of people, all of whom are in one way or another connected with iVideosongs. Each brings their
own point of view and passion to the conversation. But we want your contribution too – weigh in, tell us what you think.
Tim Huffman lives and breathes music, and has made a career of playing it and teaching others how to play it. The
path that ultimately led him to a Grammy Nomination started with exposure to other great musicians, and the opportunity
to learn from the best. No surprise that’s what led to the founding of iVideosongs. When he is not working, he spends his
days in an alternative DADGAD universe.
Robert Schettino is part of the extended group helping launch iVideosongs. He’s spent a couple of lifetimes staring
at the sea, thinks about digital content for a living. He sees live music every week and is haunted by his inability to
channel the ghosts of Robert Johnson, Elmore James and Freddie King.
Aaron Hawthorne is the finger on the pulse of iVideosongs – the drummer that drives the beat and keeps everyone in
time, and on time. Every song and every piece of instructional content in the iVideosongs catalog reflects his work and
passion for the music.
April Dukes is the Production Coordinator at iVideosongs. Her love of music motivates her to stay on the cutting edge of
what is new and good. Growing up in a very artistic and musical family she learned to love the creative process and was
encouraged to become a musician and artist herself. Other than loving her job, April also loves waking up without an alarm,
her mama's cooking, The Beatles and making itunes play lists.
